Piano Roll view scrolls with playback, but jumps back to the start point when pb stops

There must be a setting for this, but I can't find it. The piano roll view scrolls nicely as the project plays, but when I  see an error I need to fix and stop the playback, the view jumps back to where I started playing. I then need to scroll forward to the point I want to edit. Which I sometimes can't easily locate, so I play it again, and of course, it jumps back, again. Ouch.

    Most likely you're pressing the space the space bar. Try the pause button in the transport toolbar instead.

    Press CTRL+Space to stop playback without rewinding. Or disable it altogether in the preferences.

    And the option (which is "On Stop, Rewind to Now Marker" in the Track view's Options menu) can easily be enabled/disabled by Ctrl+W.
