Piano View tools?

I've not seen a video on it, but I work in PRV all of the time and if you're using midi, then the instrument that the midi is triggering needs to have pitch bend assigned to it to get a bend, i.e. unless you're th8inking of doing it with melodyne.
For vibrato some more complex samples have a vibrato layer that can be cross faded to, sometimes using cc:01 mod wheel.
For soft Synths ... Omnisphere for example, is a programmable synth so one can assign an LFO to modulate the fine pitch control to create vibrato. Sometimes one might use a bit of the same modulation to gently raise and lower the volume by assigning that same LFO to amplitude.

Drawing pitch wheel with a virtual pencil is doable and a bit of practice
will show you how to get the right feel of a bend.

I've been doing pencil work in the PRV almost exclusively for the past 6 months.

Yes. No input device other than the mouse.
Look at the controller pane at the bottom of the PRV window.
Now look over to the left under the keyboard for a + sign to add an other controller.
Choose to add "Wheel"
In Sonar 4 Producer I then type an "L" for the line tool and draw the line, or a "D" for the draw / pencil / freehand
tool.
There's a bit of a learning curve, getting used to what shapes produce what results but it's do able.

I'm just demoing X3 this week and it seems now we have to reach up to the edit tool selector,
right click on it, choose "Line" and then move back down to draw.
