    It's chord library file.
    I'm not sure that Sonar 4 PE include this kind of file.

    I searched my program drive and found a "chord.liw" file in the Sonar 1 folder. I don't have the slightest clue what it is (or was) good for.

    I agree with you 100% on that one, LJ. I was hoping I could just click, click, click the guitar chords onto a MIDI track like I cancan the pattern brush for convenience, but that don't work. I guess I'll have to settle for buying a hardcopy book of chords including CD from the neighborhood music store.

    Hey, sam16318. I have visited my local public library's music section and found that very helpful for instruments that I don't know that much about. HTH

    there are also some good online chord generator programs for piano to get you started..
