They are excellent. I find their offerings more contemporary than the EZKeys midi packs. If budget allows I would recommend them both. These kinds of midi patterns are all great adds to EZKeys. But if you were making a choice and needed to buy just one for the moment I think you'd be glad with one of the collections from Piano Loops.

I have some of their regular loops and they are good stuff. They are a bit different than Toontrack and that is a good thing. lawajava, have you tried the new "EZ Songwriter" construction loops they came out with. They are marketed as something different than their other loops. I will have to get the free demo loops and give these a try. It would be great to get some info on the new ones.

Piano loops?!? OMG, what's the world coming to? Next, piano players will be using fake guitars! How will you feel about that, lawajava?

They refer to EZ Keys themselves, so should work well ...

When a keyboard player like you uses Renaxxance
    (http://forum.cakewalk.com/Renaxxance-13-update-coming-m3221995.aspx)
that makes sense.  When a guitar player uses a guitar VST that's starting to cross the line of laziness.  But, even with that said, Renaxxance is appealing for us guitar players just because of the beauty of the sound.

For guitar players, loops of key midi patterns is a wonderful thing.

BassDaddy - I haven't looked into the EZ Songwriter offering yet.  I've heard about it from their email, but hadn't looked into it.  I've just been using the collections of Piano Loops so far from them, and they are quite good.

I messed around with the demo and there is definitely something there. Worked as slick as could be in EZ Keys. These should compliment EZ Keys midi real well. I think having the EZ Songwriter midi and Toontrack's there is added function to EZ Keys. Just a bit of a different take on the loops.

I don't have a keyboard controller and even if I did,I'm not very good on the keys. I just need something to get me by until I can get a keyboard controller.I don't have EZkeys,I'm using Addictive Keys and the instruments that come with Sonar Platinum.

You could use those loops without EZ Keys, it's just the EZ Keys browser makes auditioning the loops very easy. It can be done but will be a bit more awkward and time consuming. I'm a guitar player and a one hand wonder on keyboards and I love EZ Keys. I use the Fishman TriplePlay if I need some tricky runs and stuff. EZ Keys is just so useful. Save your pennies every month and get it when you can, you won't regret it.
