Thank's Kenny. When the world piss's me off, that is where I hide and work. I have much more stuff, but I use a lot of my hardware in my FOH systems. I have what I need to get my music done and it is lived in. I'm always getting teased about it being a mess. But I can get to everything quick. Plus, you know women. You clean often and they expect it. But yeah, I play a lot of Dobro to stay fresh. I also have a Banjo, Mandolin and some fine acoustics. I been kinda of been doing a lot of acoustic recording on my own and saving my electric stuff for my band. But now they want to work up an acoustic set..................

johndale I had a dobro for years and lent it out and its the last I ever saw it. lol It was a Regal . also had a mandolin which was a Washburn with a solid top, gave that to a friend . It looks like you have every thing you need in your setup. Mine is comming along slowly. I haven't hooked up every thing over here because I'm not able to record acousticaly in my current apt.( busy area 24/7) So I go direct ( sucks) Most of my gear is vintage amps Marshall , Fender Vibrolux 66, Fender Super Champ 82. and an assortment of guitars that I've owned for a few decades. For my preamp I use a BR1180CD ( cosm ) into a delta 1010lt, for Keys I use a keystation 49 into either some hardware synths or soft synths. but I perfer to use my midi guitar which is an Ibanez IMG2010 . I have an AKG mic and a few dodads here and there. Need some good monitors ( a future purchase ) with the exception of drums I have everything I would need to record a full band using my stuff. Still a few blanks to fill in to get to where some of the guys on this forum are at . I have what I need for now. I'm gratefull. What I want is another story. ( Waves , Sequoia, Sounds Online Products, PE 5, Abelton Live 5, ) to name a few and a Mic collection the size of Jay lo's shoe closet .

Oh Yeah , Life is Good .

    Steve,

How much did you pay for your Omnidesk? That model would work very nicely in my CR setup as well.

I also like Bruce's desk as well.

These are at least a couple of years old and some new changes/additions have been made since, but this is what it looked like back then.

Chaz, I've always liked the way your studio was setup, and your choice of gear. How you been? Did your Medical stuff work out? I'm still legally blind and mean as ever. I started using SAWStudio last fall and am very happy (I still have Sonar of course). Have you ever used SAW? What did you think?.....
