Piece for Clarinet and hand percussion

This is a piece for clarinet and hand drums.

Clarinet and Drums

My clarinet playing is pretty basic. (Any wind players who have advice on playing clarinet  is most welcome.)

Please give it a listen and let me know your thoughts.

I posted another piece for solo hand drums a while back.

Nice Marko! I like this very much.

My only crit would be to have variations on the melody rather than repeating it everytime. Other than that, I like how the tempo seems free and not locked. Gives it a nice trepid feeling.

    Very well done!

Very cool!  ... probably just me but it has a little bit of a Caravan (the jazz std.)vibe.

I like the clarinet. Not sure where you were going with the hand drums though.. seem a bit chaotic. The mix sounds pretty good.

I love the recording!  Very clean and ambient.  I noticed that there is a tempo going through this.  Maybe to help out some of us, a light egg shaker going to help keep us following the music?  I really like this piece.  It is jazzy.

Very cool. Is this recorded with mic's or is it midi? Sounds pretty epic. Nice little score for a movie or a scene.

Thanks Guitarprima. I can play so few notes decently that I repeated them ad nauseum.
    Thanks Dave.
Thanks foxwolfen. The drums are pretty freely improvised in an odd signature. They hang in the air a bit and don't resolve.
Thanks Rimshot. A light shaker or maracas might work nicely.
Thanks Joshua. The drums and the clarinet are microphone recorded. The drums were close miked so I could pick up the finger nuances and the clarinet was recorded a few feet away from the mics.
