Pitch[2]MIDI by SONiVOX

Announced for NAMM. Like their GTR-To-MIDI HW it's monophonic, but could be fun with vocals.

This looked very interesting. I'd like to see it in action. A lot of people who have tried this in the past have failed pretty badly. Melodyne does this but it's kind of a secondary function to what the plugin does.

Ableton has this, works okay.  I think it is only a feature of Ableton Suite which is pretty pricy if this is the only function you are seeking.

This is real-time so it's different than Melodyne. I haven't tried it so I don't know how good it is.

That's what I'm wondering is how accurate it is in real time to be worth $150. I love the idea of being able to throw down something really quickly by humming it if I'm out the door or not a lot of time to fire everything up but at that price point, it better be spot on and have a ton of features built in.

Bet the guy at Imitone is throwing things around his office right now.

From the sounds of it, I won't expect much from him. He's too scatterbrained for something like this. He likes to talk a lot and work a little. Hell, he admitted to taking time off Imitone to work on something else even though he was already paid the money from KS. :\
