Timidi,

I just listened to this for the first time. I love it! It's right up my alley. :)

The only thing I would suggest is bring up your backups a tinge or brighten them with EQ a tiny bit so they stand out a little more. You're a great singer! I wish I had your voice.

Hey Tim, I think it's just the overall composition that reminds me of something that John Sebastion would concoct. It's that tongue-in-check humor he is noted for and that happy-go-lucky style. I'm thinking similar songs might be Fishin Blues, My Gal, or even Jug band music.

Hey Bub. Thanks man. Yea, the Bvox, hmm, they do seem a little low maybe. I remember making a concious decision for some reason to keep em down but don't remember what that reason was:) idunno, probly somethin about keepin the overall sound not too big or somethin. i'll give another listen. Thanks.

Hey Paul. Thanks. glad I could effect your cheeks so. My pleasure.

Gotcha Tap. Thanks again. This day is turning into a nice day for a daydream.

Yeah, I'm gonna' 'me too' a couple of guys on this.  Loved the whole deal, and the super clean mix.  Excellent job.

And, damn, but it's soundin' like I'm not the only guy on the forum that still smokes.

Not really a fan of the genre, so I won't comment on that, but mix sounds great.

Sounds really sharp.  Really well mixed.  The vocals and guitars are great.

Peace,

Ian
