Platinum Hard-Crashes

No matter which method I use to attempt to open SOME projects, Platinum gets the white screen of death and the fault reporter pops up. It offers to send the dump report on to Cakewalk. I do so, but have yet to see any activity. This first started happening on April 8th, this year. Additionally, there is an Izatope 5 crash reporter asking for info. I have sent that as well, but nada yet. Anyone else experienced this issue?

You are going to have to provide much more info   32bit or 64bit.  What plugins are these projects using.  Is there a plugin that all project that crash are using? Have you tried opening them up in safe mode to try an determine if it's a plugin causing the issue?

What sound card/interface are you using?  What driver mode (MME/WASIPA/ASIO)?  What CPU and how much ram?  Is your machine fully patched?  Do you have the latest drivers installed (for all of your hardware - not just your sound interface or card) , etc.  Have you confirmed that you do NOT have ASIO4All installed?

Thanks for the hint. I opened the file in the safe mode and only allowed plugins I regularly use. There was a plugin called Cronus, or something like that, which I had never used, at least not on purpose. I disallowed that, and the file opened!! :) I'm a happy camper again. Thanks again...

There is a Cronus.dll in the Shared Dxi\VVocal folder.
