Platinum Install Error (thinks it is still Pro version?!)

Hi,
 
Made the leap to Platinum from Professional . . . .  and installed everything via the CCC application. Platinum will launch fine, but it is only showing me the Pro version stuff in Pro Channel and the Plugin Manager is greyed out, thus not allowing me to scan for anything. I have checked the install and everything is there: all the plugs, all the instruments etc. Additionally, the executable is correct: SONARPLT.exe
 
I have also resorted to un-installing and doing it all over again with the same result.
 
Has anyone encountered this before? Have I done something outrageously silly?

Hi. Did you try to do a vst reset, check scan existing and failed plugins, and do a vst rescan? I have seen it help in some cases.

Unfortunately, I am not able to do that as the plugin manager options to scan are all greyed out! It's very odd.

Under Preferences (P), you will see vst settings. Do a vst reset. Check Rescan existing plugins, and rescan failed plugin. Hope it helps.

I can't . . . .  the buttons are greyed out so they won't work!

And this is under Preferences (P), and not the pluginmanager?

You'll find the plugin manager.exe and vst scan.exe in the C:/Program Files/Cakewalk/Shared Utilities folder they can be run with out Sonar even being opened.

Do you still have Professional installed?

Yes, under Preferences.
Tried PluginManager.exe, too
 
In both cases, all options greyed out.
No, I do not have Professional installed! I'm at a loss with this, so I suspect a call to support is on the cards!
