Platinum Local Help Access

The radio button Preferences>File>Advanced>"Always Use Local Help" is grayed out. What do I need to do to be able to check the radio button and use local help.

    Install the SONAR Local Documentation package using the Command Center or from your account.

    Bingo! Sorry for being impatient. I first installed just SONAR to be sure that things were going well and to verify preferences, particularly file paths. Now that I've finished install local documentation is available.

    What if I want to access Local Help only occasionally? Can't seem to find that button.

    In theory there is no difference between theory and practice, but in practice there is.

    There are a couple of ways to access the local help without messing with preferences: add it to the tools section of the SONAR utilities menu, put a link on the desktop or pin it to the taskbar.
