Platinum: Mouse wheel zoom weirdness

Hi,
 
I am quite used to using my mouse wheel to zoom in and out both horizontally and vertically. In Mouse wheel zoom options I have set all types to "At cursor" and factors at default values. Simultaneous zoom UNCHECKED.
 
I am experiencing inconsistent zoom behavior when holding down ALT key and using mouse wheel. Sometimes, it zooms in/out correctly at cursor, but then it gets crazy and while holding ALT and using the wheel, the screen is jumping up and down. From 40 tracks, it works in the firs half from top, then it does not.
 
I should probably make a video to show you this behavior, but could you give it a try and play a little with zoom in a larger project? Have you experienced similar problem in Platinum?

    I just tested mine, and don't seem to have an issue.
    With auto zoom both on and off it worked correctly.
     
    Just to state what may be obvious to some, some mice have their own drivers that may work better that the MS versions.
    Wireless cause issues in some types of cpu intensive software.. my experience has been random jumping like a scalded-old-dog, skipping dozens of lines randomly when scrolled.
     
    At the very least you might try to get Windows to re-register your mouse after having Sonar installed.
    It may be as simple as that, if you haven't tried yet.
