Platinum crashing on Cloning tracks

Tried multiple times to clone a track with Z3ta+1 and 2). Every time, this crashes the program. Tried it with other synths and it clones fine. Audio tracks clone fine too. Only have 3 tracks in the song so far, so it's not a CPU issue.

    Sonar version please, and what specific version of Z3ta+2?
    Try starting a brand new project and then clone.
    Also try a VST reset. And then do a VST rescan.

    @48/24 & 128 buffers latency is 367 with offset of 38.

    Crashed on Z3ta and Z3ta+2 versions. Also crashing on some tracks when I try to open the take lanes. For some reason the little take lane icons are shaded a grayish blue on some tracks and white on others. Not sure if that means anything.
     
    I started a new project as you recommended, and now cloning works, as does opening take lanes.
    Fine and dandy. But the problem still occurs on existing projects?

    Ooops Sorry. I'm using Sonar Platinum. Just upgraded from X3 Producer a couple weeks ago.
    VST resets did not work either.

    As I stated "specific version of Z3ta+2?"? (in Help-About or something). I'm not if there were any service releases or not to be honest hence I'm asking.
     
    As it's project specific try a different preset and see if this is crashing it.
    Also try freezing and unfreezing the synth.
    Also try replacing the synth with another instance of the same plugin.

    Which Z3TA track are you trying to clone - the Audio or the Midi?
     
    Or are you using simple instrument tracks?

    When cloning an instrument track make sure the track is not selected. That was the trouble in this thread http://forum.cakewalk.com/FindPost/3097244
