Platinum not remembering maximized MD ?

Hi,
Platinum is not remembering that I saved the file with the multidock maximized (SHFT+D) but only if I save the file when in track view. I never need to or want to use the MD in it's un maximized view. If, however, I save the project when viewing a maximized MD the project reopens to that maximized MD.

This was not the behavior in X3.
X3 always remembered that I always have the MD maximized no matter what, and reloading a project that was saved when it track view, D will always show me a maximized MD, because I maximized it at the start and left it that way.

Is there a cure for this in Platinum?

Thanks!

create a screenset and lock it.
you might want to check the screenset now and see if its already locked.
if it isn't, set the work area the way you like it. then lock the screenset.
    your problem should be solved.

    Thanks.
Yes I understand screensets. I'm just wondering why it changed since X3.
