Please Help: Can't Move or Cut and Paste Clips Across Lanes X2 Pro

Hi everyone, It's been a while since I've done this, and I don't know if the problem is me or there's a bug with the program. I have some MIDI clips in various lanes I'm trying to blend together. Every time I try to cut and paste a portion of a clip to a new lane, it doesn't work (i.e., nothing shows up in the new lane). When I attempt to move a portion of a clips using the Smart Tool function and Snap to Grid, the portion will move, but all other data on the other lanes within my start and end point disappears. I've tried every configuration in the Projects > Record imaginable (Sound on Sound blend, etc.). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
