Please Help! I can't seem to get the Multidock to "work"

Yes, I am a bonehead. So don't remind me.  I have X1 Expanded & somehow I managed to "minimize" the Multidock & I can't get it to open up. It's at the bottom of the session, but clicking the "^" up gizmo won't make it go up. If I start a new session, "Normal" works fine, so I didn't cause serious damage. Can somebody please tell me how to get the multidock "unstuck"?

Hopefully I've described the problem enough so that it's clear what my problem is. Besides the fact that I'm a knucklehead that is...

If there is nothing in the multidock maybe it won't open.

Yes, if there's nothing in the MultiDock, then it won't open.

If the problem is something else, try changing the screenset by pressing one of the number keys along the top of your PC keyboard.

Thanks. None of those things worked because the only Screenset that used the MultiDock was the one I hosed up. Any other way to do it?

What happens when you select the PRV from the Views pull-down menu?  By default it should open in the Multi-dock...

    If "d" didn't work, how about Shift+d?

You may have accidentally resized the multidock so that it's maximum size is the same size as minimised. That will give the illusion that it is 'stuck' at the bottom or broken.

Pressing Shift+D will sort that out. As already pointed out you will need to have something in it to open it though. Press Alt+2 to ensure that is the case. That should put the CV into it.

Yes the multidock isn't a 'feature' as such. It is simply a storage area that can be used for multiple displays etc. If there's nothing in it in the first place there's nothing to see.
