Please help! Can't send a clip from X1 to a wave editor any more

I posted this before, but perhaps my subject line wasn't clear.  

I can launch a wave editor such as Wavelab or Audacity from within Sonar, but the clip does not show up there...just a blank edit window.  I am certain I have the wave selected in X1  before launching.

This worked correctly for me in Sonar PE 8.5.2 32 bit but, stopped when I upgraded to X1 64 bit (now on X1c).

Does anyone have this working in a similar software configuration?  I appreciate any advice or confirmation.
