Please help me get my controller back (SOLVED)

IT is an alphatrack.  It controls sonar fine, but it does not appear to be receiving from the DAW - the screen remains blank and does not show track name or anything else.  I have concluded that it is a sonar issue because it works fine in S7, but  not X1 (on the same machine).  It used to work in X1.  I have done a bunch of ACT stuff making templates and presets and stuff to augment automap for the PC.

In the process, I  believe something has gotten  corrupted in the sonar config info/ACT database, and also that I saw a post a while back about how to re-initialize that file, but I think that file may have changed for X1, and regardless, I don;t rmemebr it and can;t find the post.

Does anyone know how to do this?   Thanks up front, mes amis...

Well, it has resolved itself, whatever it was.  Switching back and forth between 7 and X1 and rebooting the system a few times caused it to gradually - gradually - return to normal. First the track names appeared.  Then later some some of the knobs and buttons became full-duplex. Then some more came back on, and finally the fader started moving in sync.  I farted around with the settings, too...

So I really don't have any idea what fixed it. But it was gradual.  Gradual...
