Please help - no sound

We don't get any sound at all

We have an Intel SB AudioPCI 128 (WDM) card and have done everything mention in the Basic beginners setup tutorial post but still cannot hear anything when we run the tutorials.

In the option - midi devices tab, under input we have highlighted SB AudioPCI 128 midi in, and outputs we have SB AudioPCI 128 midi out and SB AudioPCI 128 midi synth highlighted.

The only thing we can't see that is mentioned in the tutorials guide is where it mentions going to the advanced tab and checking the box "always use the MMC interface even when WDM drivers are available", we don't seem to have this option.

Please help - it's driving us mad

    That needs to be updated in the tutorial, the latest version of MC does not have the check box, to use the MME drivers one needs to select them in the list of available drivers from the drop down box, look under general first, and see what is listed under playback and record, then check advanced and see if it has an option for driver mode.

    I'd Seize the day but i can't quite reach it!
