Please, i would like to see and hear your first cwp

Sorry, i just heard. I don't do forum often. I feel broke, sad and melancholic right now. Suddenly i remember what was my very first cakewalk project file. Went to my project folder sort it out and listen to it again. This is real sad...! People, i want to hear your very first cakewalk tune if you still have. I don't mind how bad it is. I will publish mine very soon

They shouldn't do this to us

The music is the important thing, not some discontinued software.

This is a tad embarrassing. I have a deep baritone Bing Crosby kind of voice and I'm trying to do a more rock oriented arrangement here that I made of a Harry Nilsson song from a children's animated TV special that's in much too high a register for me. I don't think the arrangement is terrible, but my vocal sure is. I did this either on the original Cakewalk Guitar Tracks program (that was their very first software) or the later first generation of Guitar Tracks Pro. It was recorded sometime in the late 90's. Windows 95 2nd edition was likely still being used here on probably a Pentium III system.

Wayfarer that's a really cool song!  I especially liked the sort of easing into the groove rather than just grooving from the start.

I don't know why it's doing that.  I copy and pasted the same thing a gazillion times, but now it wont work.

Wayfarer, I thought you did a good job on that song. Nice.
David, your link still gives me an error message.

Here's one I wrote late 90's I think.  Don't know which version Cakewalk I had then and I don't know why I named this song Osaka.  It really sounds primitive to me now, the sound and also my writing.

No too shabby guys. You should both consider going into meditation music. There's a market for it.

Your link works if I copy and paste it into a browser David. I think this forum must not like the hyphens in it or something.

As far as I know This Coffee House Band song was the first Cakewalk project I was involved in after joining this site.

It was later remixed with new drums and more synths and placed on our website with all our songs. The Coffee House Band.
