I am not sure of what distance a parsec measures --- so, I may have been too close when I listened to this but I liked it!!!  I also did not find this song or you trying at all.  Some electronica can chase away one's attention but you were able to weave together sounds and tones that certainly kept my interest.

Very nice, well textured piece of modern electronica with lots of interesting elements and a crystal clear, well defined mix!
 
I love the choice of synth sounds you used on this.  Something about it reminds me of early Ambrosia, and one section brought to mind something from ELP's Tarkus album.
