Please somebody help. I want my freaking '=' key back.

Can someone point me to what I need to do in order to get the '=' key to behave like the '+'  key as in previous versions?   Right now, if I have the volume control focused and hit '=', it changes the track and displays a long yellow line through my track.  This is very frustrating to change a key I've been using since Cakewalk 1.0.   Can anyone help?  This old dog doesn't mind learning new tricks, but to have to hit unshifted-minus and shifted plus to vary volume is a real pain.

Best,

EDIT: Sorry, forgot to mention this is on X2.  Pretty awesome so far except for a few annoyances and UAD crashes.

Thanks for the reply.  Unfortunately, in my X2 installation, there is no such file "Sonar Legacy Key assignments.kbn".  I did find that file in the X1 folder and tried it, however, the '=' key still turns on some volume envelope mode.  I'd change it myself but I cannot find the function to which I should bind the key for Increase/Decrease Vol/Pan etc.
