Plug in problem with X2 but not X2 trial (SOLVED)

THis is really strange. I gave X2 a try and found it was a breeze to install with no  issues, so I bought it.

With the free trial there were no issues with plugs and nothing changed in terms of layout or visibility of plugs in the browser. With the purchased copy I can't change the plug in layout and it refuses to show any version of Guitar Rig in the browser. I have rescanned all the plugs and verified all the paths as being correct. I can see Guitar Rig in the plug in manager and my files are using it, so it's there.

Has anyone else had issues with the browser not displaying certain plug ins?

Perhaps you are looking at the plugin menu that says Cakewalk. Try changing it to the one that says all.

BTW you can get to all your plugins via the browser.

That's the point John. I tried to change to the "all" menu but it won't change. I think the install may have gone bad because the plug layout is not one I've ever used and Guitar Rig won't appear in the browser. Thanks for the reply.

I'm sorry to hear that. I can't see why that would happen.

Turns out it was an install glitch. I reinstalled and everything is ok now. I think the trial copy may be newer than the download and have a patch. I have build 306 installed and I think the demo was 308.
