Plug-In Manager suggestions

Hi all,

Here are some suggestions for the SONAR Plug-In Manager:

  • I would like the Registered Plugin list window to become a multi-column window with all the basic properties you see in the VST Plug-In Properties window. (Configure as Synth, Tempo-based effect, PDC, Max Inputs, Enable Mono, BitBridge, 32 or 64 bit, Path).
  • Ability to sort Registered Plugin list based on Name / Time Stamp / Directory / And all the other columns...
  • Add a Time Stamp when a Plugin is added so that you can easily find the newly added plugins to add to custom layouts but also for debugging if/when Sonar becomes unstable. (Being able to quickly see the recent plugin additions would be useful for that).
  • A button to "Create Plugin-In Menu Layout from Directory Structure". (I think this is self explanatory, no?)
  • A "Export all presets of all FX Plugins / Instrument Plugins" button.

I hope everything is clear.

    also:
    • after uninstalling (or deleting the dll from the vst path) and rescanning, remove the registry entry for the no-longer-there plugin
    • would also be nice to see some resource-use-per-plug, a la reaper
    • would still be nice to know what the limit-per-menu-folder actually is

    . option to choose collapsed list or not 

    . option to choose colors for folders names (to knida sort them visualy also)

    + 1000000 on the ability to edit the layouts from the view
