Plugin Layout Issue in X1 LE?
Today I installed the X1 LE version which is nice
- but...I have a problem with the plugin layout feature in the plugin manager. It simply will not load my customised layouts. I can create and save them but the program always defaults to a mess of a un-ordered list. I have tried deleting layouts from the default folder but every time I reboot X1 LE it generates a new mess.
Any suggestions would be helpful - I need structure!

I agree with this, would be interesting to see if there was a way to have the menus default to our created templates instead of the mess of all the plugins thrown together

OK I got a work around that goes like this: In the Browser window (shortcut B) choose 'Audio fx' from the 'Plugins' drop down menu you see 2 plugin layout files - Default & X1 LE Effects. If you now choose the 'Manage Layouts' option you can call up a customised layout - go to save the layout and overwrite the X1 LE Effects by saving your custom layout as 'X1 LE Effects' - Thats it! Go back to the Browser window and choose the X1 LE Effects layout and you're done - an ordered list of plugins
Right or wrong - this has worked for me so I thought I would share.
off topic comment here - cant believe how s-l-o-wwww t-h-i-sss f-o-r-u-mmm is for a Cakewalk product forum Im suprised...but hey...that's Rock nRoll !!

undw thanks for the idea! I tried this and it worked for a period of time then went back to throwing all of the plugins in randomly. This shouldn't be such a complicated thing to set up!
