Plug-in manager not opening
As stated in the title heading,plug- in manager won't open Totally unresponsive. I'm trying to get Sonar to recognize Toontrack EZ Mix2. I've installed the 64Bit version (it's destination C:program files/cakewalk/VSTplugins where all my 64bit plug ins reside...(so the dll.file is now there) I open Sonar, but EZmix 2 isn't showing up in the 'audio FX/VSTplug-ins64bit' drop down menu. The only thing that shows in this menu is Guitar Rig 3 LE 64 bit which is also stored in the same location as EZmix 2 ,ie: C:program files/cakewalk/VSTplugins I'm really confused as to what the destination path for EZ Mix 2 64Bit should be. I've tried opening Plug-in manager to set the path there, but the bloody thing won't open! For what it's worth,i can't open 'manage plug-in layouts' either.

My thoughts too. After installing a new plugin you have to trigger a VST scan of the folders in which the plugins live.

Scan VST Folders and Reset All VST Plug-ins are both greyed out :-( In the VST scan folders box,I've added the location of EZmix, but under VST Scan "scan folders" it is greyed out.

I've contacted technical support. I'm wondering whether I should reinstall Sonar?

Plug-in manager wouldn't open for me no how, no way either until, as I recall, I installed the X1C update. Even tho you have a different OS, etc, maybe something there? HeyDan

X1 Expanded (x1d build 535) I have 'scan for vst plugins on start up ' checked, and it's not even doing that. I've tried opening Sonar with shift held down (I read somewhere here in the archives that that might resolve the issue)but that hasn't helped. I think it's seriously screwed and i sense a reinstall is in order *groans* Tech support haven't got back to me yet. It's because of the 32/64/bit bridge / separate folders situation,I'm sure of it...gone funky somewhere down the line. Became an issue when I installed EZMix 2 64 Bit. Maybe that's due punishment for resorting to Easy Mix!!!
