Plugins not lighting up or workin

Hopefully someone can help me with this..I have a track when I insert a plugin it stays grayed out..nor does it work..Almost looks like the track is frozen, though it isnt...other tracks are fine and this track is fine in other songs...what have I accidently hit to cause this? I am using Sonar X3..thanks for your help..driving me crazy and I havent a clue..

    Right-click in the FX Bin and make sure "Bypass Bin" is not checked.

    the Pro Channel works fine but no effect will..I was looking for an insert effect on/off..cant find one
