Plural-Eyes

For those of you who do video production work in addition to audio, as in music videos, I just learned about this new plug-in for NLE Systems.  It automatically syncs the audio and the video to each other.  A friend tried the demo and says it works well.  This kinda blows my mind if it really does work well.  Here's the link: http://www.singularsoftware.com/pluraleyes.html and no, I'm not a spammer.
From what I understand, it works by comparing and aligning similar waveforms.
