Pod Farm for GearBox Plug-in users
For those of us out there using the Line 6 Gearbox plug in or Line 6 recording hardware, Line 6 just made pod farm available for us. Link is here

I got my e-mail from them Doc and I followed the links to install the free bits but I can't see any evidence of what I've done - any ideas?
And what do you actually get for the $49 upgrade price - I checked the specs and I seem to have all the amps and effects already as part of the gold bundle.

Strummy it should be free to Gold bundle users. I haven't had a chance to download it yet. I'll be doing that tomorrow... I'll let you and Grant know how it goes.

Indeed, I think I like it better then Gearbox as far as the interface. A million thanks Doc, I normally ignore their emails, just way to many.

 No Steve you will have a new program "Pod Farm", it doesn't change Gearbox, I had to update the driver to get it to work.

No, not yet. We didn't get to bed till 4 this morning. I'm baby sitting the 4 legged kids so they to wake the little misses. when she's up and about I'll go into the studio and start work on that and several other things that need attention.

My take so far. I like the gearbox gui better. I do like the mixer part of farm better and the dual tone signal chains. I wasn't able to use dual tones in gearbox with the toneport di. why oh why can't line6 make an interface that is scaleable? It is pretty small when I run it on my 22" widescreen monitor at high resolutions. It worked with all of my patches except one and it told me that the amp model doesn't exist although it works fine in gearbox.
Overall I would grade it a B
some improvements over gearbox, some parts of the gui seem a little clunky to me.

I'm with you 100% on that Chris! GearBox has a maximise button but it only works vertically.
