Poem

Ok it's been a while:

The night it cloes, like some final moment curtain call,
The night it cloes and we do not heed the final song at all,
The night it cloes and the angel in the dust, sings final drinks but still gives more.
The night it closes and Callisto returns to help us with the fall.

We weep and cry please oh night help us fly,
We weep and cry please oh night help us with the lie.
We weep and cry please oh night lift us beyond this earth and sky,
We weep oh night Callisto please help us with our final moment as we die.

But we are alone, all because we cannot speak-
But we are alone because we are all weak-
We are alone because when the word is spoke we see the dawn.
We are alone because when we wake it is too late.

Love Neb

I hat it when the night cloes.

Your artistic license has not expired, has it?

On the spot just as I got up I was listening to the universe and it sang

The sound I wake up to at times is the whoosing, girgling, flowing, dripping, bubbling, insistant, not to be toyed with sound.  But then, I realized it wasn't the universe but the sound of my water softener recharging.
I might need a new one.
