The production is fine for a background to something bigger. It does have that kind of mystical polar sound to it but some added instrumentation would take this to a whole new level. But, what you have sounds really good. The picture you used on soundcloud looks as though you may be trying to capture the northern light. If so, go to my soundclick music page and there is a piece I did called northern lights. Your piece and mine might mix well together to create something really different. Let me know what you think. Peace and blessings, John

Hei John - I listened to your track - nice & very different. Yours is much more "musical" - mine was intentionally "ambient", more a mood-setting thing. I just did a quick YouTube upload of how I pictured mine with the Northern Lights ... http://youtu.be/EoBAXiuuFAc

I liked it, the video was awesome and the ambient sound went with it nicely. How can I get a video like that with out having to go to Alaska. Peace and blessings, John

Excellent track and very aptly named. I could just imagine listening to this while treking across the antarctic. The mix sounds perfect and is full of atmosphere. Very well done.

Very nice ambient production. Nice layering and the themes swell in and out nicely. Never a boiring moment as it progresses. Great use of tones and textures. Very Well Done !!!!

Beautiful textures, thanks for posting this. The twist that makes this piece for me is the little melodic lick from the 4th scale degree to the major 3rd that fades in right about 1:00. After the minor scale primary melody that came before, this pulls the ear right into the piece. I especially appreciate music that makes me listen for the details and rewards me when I pay closer attention--this piece does it.

Thanks for noticing that little chord progression! Its rewarding to hear when listeners appreicate the details like that ... that same minor-major features again in the next section (in the full track which I will post on Soundcloud soon).
