alexoosthoek BTW: any news about the V700 nope , I am guessing the postal service is bad ..I have a picture of one though.. not the same , but it's a start to say who is the nicest is very tricky, I couldn't answer that as it's very tricky to choose just one person.

I'd vote for BitFlipper, he generally replies when he can and is knowledgeable and comes across more as a "teacher" trying to be objective and factual as opposed to others who give their opinions infused with attitude. Other votes would go to Mike McCue and Jim Roseburry, both helpful and nice people and these peoples and a few others, I weight their opinions more heavily as they've proven themselves more or less a reliable! I know there are others I would say but that's all I can think of right now

reader1 reader1, if the question were who is the most obtuse. Try as I might, I cannot come up with anything as mystical and (I assume) profound as "Everyone can talk what you will propose to write this sentence so that people can understand?" Not that I'm mocking the guy. I'm much too nice for that. (Thanks, windsurfer!) (EDIT: and dot-dot-dot, too!) Randy, if there's a Garritan library involved, I'm buying ice cream for everyone!

Windsurfer got it right for me with Bitflipper and Mike McCue for consistent useful information and attitude. These guys have been round the block a few times and we are lucky to have them around. I do appreciate the many varied charms of most people on the forums here, it's a microcosm of the different people we meet and have to deal with in real life in many respects. Bapu's daft humour has me laughing out loud at times and my curries have never tasted so good since the irreplacable SteveStrummer generously gave me a video course in the dark arts thereof. JonBouy every now and then goes up a gear at will and comes forth with some original insights and wisdom. I try to bring as much of my limited but growing knowledge in Sonar and audio recording in general to the forums, along with my sense of (hopefully) humour. As in real life I ditch negativity, aggression and prejudice, please feel free to throw this quote back at me if I ever digress from these aims. I do confess to being entertained by flame wars from time to time and wonder why some people would generate so much time and effort to such unproductive pursuits. Finally, I do miss Phuket Ling Ling....

"Everyone can talk what you will propose to write this sentence so that people can understand?" bitflipper As I've mentioned before, we really need to compile a book of reader1 quotes. I'd use it as wall paper to line my studio walls with...but then i'd never get any work done....

Fog it's as bad as them mongs that ring me up at home out of hours trying to flog me something. Hey Fog - sign up for the telephone preference service. 1 - it's free!! 2 - it works!! 3 - if you DO get a call from one of these "organisations", just mention the TPS and they'll hang up quicker than a wippet with a bum full of dynamite 4 - if they persist, they get fined £5,000 a DAY and on an increasing scale I now get ZERO junk calls. Oh, there's also a Mail Preference Service - I now get ZERO junk mail

Tough to answer You are all good, thats the ones that are good and then there are some others, well lets just leave it at that. (Well thats another +1 to that which really does not matter I have been told)

The Nicest Girl/Guy? That's a tough one. How to pick out the nicest Girly Man in the forums? No matter how you try to say it, it still sounds like a backhanded compliment. That's not nice...

Alex I was confused a little but now I've decided "nice" means just nice. I'll say you have always been very nice to folks including me. And it is a hard question. We're lucky that there are many nice people here and that's what makes it hard to pick nicest...but you have my vote in the top five. Michael
