Popping sound from using channel tools...

I am running Sonar 8.5.3.282 (from Help > About Sonar)

When I use the channel tools plug-in that I get a really loud popping sound when I start the transport.  It really makes the plug-in unusable. I am afraid of blowing a speaker or eardrum when I am at mixing volume.  If I freeze the track this does not happen.

I am using ASIO drivers if that helps.

Anybody else experience this? Anybody know if there is a cure?

George

    Hey CJ,

I have had it happen in other projects and in my current project I have tried on multiple tracks with same result. (A vicious pop when I start the transport)

That's a drag, geetsifly - Channel Tools is a nifty plug-in, and like CJ, it's never given me a problem.  Can't imagine what the issue here is.

Do you have the option "flush at start" or something like that selected?

It may help in this circumstance.

    Hey Mike,

I assume you are referring to something in the aud.ini.

There is A flush on stop is that the setting?
