Positive Constructive Sonar X2 thread.

I thought I would share some personal success stories as a happy Sonar user.....
Since X1 came out (i'm now on X2a) I have used Sonar for the following....

1. Completion of sound design for a Feature film, currently released in the US, UK and Australia.
2. Dubbing Mixer role on a feature film, currently being released.
3. Produced 4 albums, currently being released (without audio transients and drum replacement these albums would have sounded ghastly)
4. Sound design on 2 animation shorts to be shown on Ch4 (UK) later this year.
5. Written, Produced, Mixed and recorded my own album to come out later this year.
6. Sound Design on a BAFTA nominated animation short.
7. Recorded various foley work for various film projects.
8. Sound design on 3 short films.

Theres probably more work but I forget.....

Whats your success stories with Sonar X1 and/or X2?

Great work. My use of X2 is not near as extensive as yours. However, X2 always works for me and I'm happy with the product.

I noticed you have the delta 1010 listed. Do you use that interface a lot for your current work?

I Had to ditch the Delta 1010 for Sonar as the drivers from MAudio are nasty with Sonar, random crashes and the dreaded drivers not releasing the process causing me to have to reboot everytime it happened (Let me stress, this wasnt a Sonar issue)... So i use the Delta for Pro Tools (when I am forced to use Pro tools by clients) and use the MOTU for Sonar work, which works flawlessly.

I've had good luck with the M-Audio drivers with Sonar in that respect....I had way more problems with them in Pro Tools.
