dmbaer started a Rapture 2 feature thread here:

Right now we can already have a global filter in Rapture by using the Global Insert FX... but global EGs would be interesting.

Global fx filter is for the fx,same as the other filters for the fx, would like to see a filter independant of that, to route into a global envelope, just feel it would give more control over the final shaping of the sound

I'm curious as to what you have in mind.  An envelope needs something to trigger it.  A global anything effects all notes.  When you have multiple notes, what's the trigger?

dmbaer have all the elements routed to 1/2 filter(s) then to an envelope, just feel once i've shaped individual sounds in each element, i wish i could shape it that bit more, it's like the thor i reason , i wish each oscillator had an independant envelope which then could be routefd through the filters into the main filter and amp envelopes(+ to the global env obviously

Same as rapture has a global left/right sequqncer, and global effects, do what your doing in each element then to the global section, all elements would trigger what you are talking about

OK, I see what you're talking about now.  Duh!

I was thinking of global meaning note-global ... in other words, something that applies to all notes currently active.  You're talking about "element-global", which would not only be convenient, it would be more efficient in a lot of cases where you'd otherwise copy and paste amp or filter settings from one element into another.  Yes, good idea.
