Possible solution for the snap setting changing whenever it feels like it. (never mind)
If you right click on the box with the little arrow that's by the snap amount and select "Snap to" it should not change on you. At least it hasn't changed on me yet and I've just been editing in the staff view where the snap always changed on me. I'm not 100 percent sure but it may be the solution.
Confirmations please?
