Posting times don't match??

Have you noticed that there are quite often discrepancies in the announced posting times of posts?

The forum header may say the last update is 1 hour ago, but when you go to the post its header says it's been posted three or ten hours ago.

Not a big thing, really, but sometimes a bit annoying. One more in the long list of flaws in this forum software.

SONAR PE 8.5.3, Asus P5B, 2,4 Ghz Dual Core, 4 Gb RAM, GF 7300, EMU 1820, Bluetube Pre  -  Kontakt4, Ozone, Addictive Drums, PSP Mixpack2, Melda Creative Pack, Melodyne Plugin etc.
The benefit of being a middle aged amateur is the low number of years of frustration ahead of you.

If we can't trust the posting times, how can we trust that the post count is accurate so it matters not.

And yet another thing that really ticks me off, and I believe Wook mentioned it when the forum software was first changed...

Quite often, the mouse pointer completely loses focus, even if you haven't clicked outside a forum page - the scroll wheel stops er... scrolling, and the Home and End keys don't work either

And even if you left click in the forum page, the Scroll/Home/End functions still don't work

    Shoddy.

I have that problem too, but I can't put all of the blame on the forum software.  My problem exists in other software, too.  I think is either my MS mouse being too sensitive or it's a recent update to Flash.

I thought that it was my mouse..cleaned it, now I have no issues...might need a new one...

Or..it just might be flash...what I get here is that it would freeze and I can't do a darn thing...I have to shut down completely and reboot...then I find upon rebooting that I get back on and well, flash stops working again..

I have never had any of those problems.  I'll bet you guys are using FF or Chrome, aren't you?  I'm using IE.  mouse pointer never loses focus, Scroll/Home/End keys all work correctly in the forum.

    Now this is really sad.

I just opened Chrome to see if I could replicate Barry's 'floating scrollbar' (sadly I can't) - I don't use Chrome normally so I have no Favourites set, so I decided to go through Google.

I just realized that I misunderstood what you meant here.  yes, "loosing focus" the mouse pointer always loses focus whenever inside a thread.  in the page of the subforums themselves it works, but when I enter into a thread, I have to click before the scroll button works.  I'll bet that's what you meant, and I just wasn't paying attention.
