Power Supply - Is EVGA SuperNOVA a good choice for a DAW?

My current PSU (Corsair TX850) is apparently plagued with coil whine, which my sound card (M-Audio Delta-44) is picking up.  Understandably, this is putting a damper on my music-making enthusiasm!  So, I am thinking of getting a new PSU.

I keep reading good things about EVGA SuperNOVA PSUs, so I am thinking of getting one of them.  I have a couple questions:

1) Are the EVGA SuperNOVA PSUs less likely to have coil whine than the Corsair TX850?

2) Is the P2 significantly better than G2 in terms of all-day operation (I use my computer for work, gaming, and Sonar).

3) [bonus question] Is there any downside to getting an EVGA SuperNOVA for a DAW?

Thanks a bunch!
