"Power Trip" (Rock Video)

"Power Trip" (Rock Video)

Hi, Guys,

I've been away from the forum (and from recording) for a few months due to being extremely busy, but now that fall is here, I'm looking forward to getting back into things and checking out what I've been missing here on the forum!

I thought I'd pop back in to say hello to the Songs Forum Crew and share a video for "Power Trip", on which many of you were kind enough to help me out with mix observations, input and suggestions a few months ago when I was working on my last album.  Thanks again for that, you guys are truly the best!

"Power Trip" - https://youtu.be/JGz23JC5-Nc

If you get a few minutes, please check it out and let me know what you think!

Have a Rockin' weekend, guys and gals!
Bob

Thanks for checking out the video and for your very kind comments!  Yes, sir, you have both very good ears and eyes.  It is a PRS Torero and I actually used both it, and my PRS Paul Allender Signature on this song.  I love them both, they play like a dream and with the Coil Splitter EMGs they offer a lot of tone variations and versatility.

Hey Bob...really well done as usual -- really liked the tone on the guitars -- everything was well mixed and it sounds great turned up LOUD!!!!  Oh, the woman dancing in the beginning of the video was really a good touch although she's sure to get all the attention :)  I enjoyed this.

    Completely rockin', Oister style...

Powerful as always, Bob, and has your signature vibe.  Good stuff.   About the only negative I'd have is that I lost where the "1" or downbeat was a few times.    Other than that I thought it was strong.

    Hey Bob-O

    Love the song!
As I watched the video, I noticed it was out of sync with the music, which distracted me from the musical performance.
With a song and title such as this, I pictured a more intense video, with more "power trip" action from Mother Nature such as volcanic activity, earthquake devastation and hurricane scenes. Just my opinion. Keep up the great music!
