Predictable rhymes

Order and specific lines are not important, just list the rhymes you're sure you'll hear from the "set up"

1. dance, chance/romance
2. you, too
3. say, day/way

We came out of it naturally the worst:
Beaten and bloody, and I was sick down my shirt.
We were no match for their untamed wit,
Though some of the lads said they'd be back next week.

Paul Weller thought a Thesaurus was a poofy book of synonyms.

She stripped away her rancid poncho
and laid out nekked by the door
We did it till we were unconcho

Then there are the common ones like

Orange & Purple/Scroynge and Merple.  Way too over used.

    Tis now time
    For predictable rhyme
    Truly a crime
    With a fine o'er a dime

    Tis really a shame
As there's no one to blame
    Though framing Bapu
Might be the thing to do

    This thread he did start
    Thinking to be real smart
    Hoping after many a line
    The thread would be fine

    But we surely must know
    The thread will not glow
And when all has been said
    This thread will be dead

Who says it needs to rhyme?

Well, if it's country, it probably has predictable rhymes in it...

But I stand by line one.... but it really needs to be creative if it doesn't.

Too many songs to mention using that predictable rhyme, I'm sure.

Actually, JB, I believe it was a collection of letters expelled by Jon during an unfortunate childhood experience involving alphabet soup and projectile vomiting.  It seems very likely that letters did, in fact, come out of his nose as well.

Later on, he would use the same method to write lyrics.
