Preference/Midi/Instruments "Define" greyed out?!!

I'm trying to import the Real Guitar stroke map into SONAR X2 and when I try and import it per instructions I can't click the "Define" button to get to "Import" because "Define" is greyed out.

I've done all of this successfully on my old computer with X1.  What's up with this?
