Preview of MIDI clips to play on highlighted track.

I recently posted upstairs that I was having a problem that when I would preview a MIDI clip in the browser it would play in the wrong synth - whichever was the first one inserted.  The correct answer is that you have to click on the drop down menu on the media tab (which is indicated by a triangle which is only a handful of pixels wide) and set the synth preview output.
 
I think it would be a lot more intuitive if there were an option (and was the default) to have MIDI clips previewed on the highlighted track.  For one thing, that's how it works in P5, which I still use from time to time.   To me, the P5 way makes a lot more sense than the way Sonar does it.
