Pricing is off.

The price for a new Sonar purchase shows as $499 on the main page, but in my shopping cart it is showing up as $525.  What gives?

    We sell it a little higher than our dealers. Any of our authorized dealers can sell it to you for $499 including Sweetwater and Musician's Friend. They are already set so when you buy it from them and get your download code it will unlock your lifetime updates.

    This might be a stupid question, but is Pitbull Audio an authorized dealer?  I can get an extra discount if I go through them.

    Some weirdness here too. It says the upgrade from Pro to Platinum is $299

    with Lifetime Updates

    I own SONAR Studio/Professional
    $299

    I own SONAR Essential/Artist
    $399

    I’m new to SONAR
    $499
     
    However, in the store it says $525.
