    I read on another thread that Sonar can't print from a window that is "floated". Make sure your Staff View window is docked and not in floatable mode and see if that makes a difference.

    Hi all;

    I have gone through all of these forums and I am still lost on this whole printing deal.  I have tried every configuration mentioned. Docked in multidock, undocked disabled floating, undocked enabled floating nothing seems to enable print preview or print options under the file menu. If I do ctrl-p, I get the formatting options window but when I hit okay still nothing is sent to the printer.
    I have even taken the printer from being a network machine and plugged it directly into the PC to no avail.

    I am using Sonar X1a build 197.  I have a contract riding on my being able to provide sheet music for four songs. I do not know how to read or write music Notation and Finale were of little use to me because they kept screwing up the notes and timing when I imported the midi file, not to mention Finale is not geared towards pop music.  I have spent two days putting the lyrics and fixing their timing in the Staff view (my first time ever adding lyrics to a file).  I have been using Cakewalk since the Voyetra Gold SQ days in 1991.  The last time I had print sheet music was in Sonar 7.  I am desperate for any directions that could lead to a solution.  I have waited a very long time for an opportunity like this to come along.

    Cheers
    AJ Evans

    I am on a Windows 7 x64 using a 6 core processor at 3.2 ghz each if that has any bearing on the issue, which it shouldn't.

    Update X1b resolved an issue with not printing.  Maybe give the update a go.
