Pro Channel Defaults

When I choose "Set Modules for Default Buses or Tracks" by right clicking on PC it appears to save but the next time I create a new bus or channel I am getting the old defaults.
 
Is there a file that the defaults get saved in?  Ideally I would like to go back to just the eq as a default.
