Pro Channel FX Chain Customization Question

I'm just experimenting putting a VST like FabFilter ProL into a ProChannel FX Chain.  See pic below.
- The Customize GUI has three options greyed out - why is that?
- Is there a way of deleting knobs I don't need, or must they just stay there un-assigned?

It appears that the greyed out options are only available for FX Chains in the FX bin. The buttons and rotary stuff in ProChannel are fixed both in style and number.

I think that's disappointing, as it's the smaller area of the ProChannel where you need to be able to reduce the number of knobs if necessary.

You can edit the greyed-out options in an fx bin and then save the preset and call it up in the Pro Channel and the customization will persist - at least the fader caps will, it would seem scook is right (huge surprise) that the buttons and knobs are fixed in the PC.
