Pro Channel Is Great But This Just BUGS ME! Does it you?

I like the pro-channel feature, but I'm going over some tracks I recorded in the past and I can tell there is a problem with too much compression on a few things. The issue is, when looking at it from the "Mix View", I have to look through things to see where the FX was added by Pro Channel. If I would have just done things like in the old day before pro channel and simply added FX I would have been better off because I could see what the FX were. Instead I have to open each and every channel on this song, and it has a whole lot of them to find the option to change things.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining here. I'm just mentioning something that might help better develop the software. And I should point out, as soon as Cakewalk by Bandlab came out, I give it a try, but I decided to stick with Sonar Platinum last version because it has worked perfectly for me with no crashes, and I have read threads on here where the new version has crashed for others. And yes for those wondering I do keep an Image backup just in case problems arise. But secondly, I didn't like the memory resident things going on with Bandlab even after you turn everything off at start and such.

Now back to my point, I guess it's a PRO CHANNEL if you get it right the first time, but having to go through every track to see what you have added rather than having it listed in the FX Bin is a bit irritating.

I may be complaining about something I am missing here, so if I am please help me out with some info.?

Just thought I would give my opinion and ask.

Dell XPS 8700, 16GB's Ram, Sonar Platinum.

If you use the mixer view and select all tracks, then click one of the "show prochannel" buttons you will see all tracks with prochannel exposed... as many as you can fit on screen at one time...

You can also turn off the pro channel one at the time. If I have an overloaded instance in pro channel, I can tell by the light as it goes red. That way I know which one is causing a problem.

Or in Console View, ctrl-click an "open ProChannel" button, and they all open up. Very impressive for clients

Oops... that's what I meant...

Console view not mixer view. I'm always forgetting names...
