Pro Channel Presets

Hi, Thought I saw awhile back that there are additional presets? I looked on the Cakewalk website and can't find them. Are they available? Best, Guitman Oh. . . Loving X2a!!!

It's ok here - it will open as HTML if you click the link and choose to open it instead of saving. Try right clicking the link and choosing "Save Target As" for IE or "Save Link As" in Firefox. Should see it being saved as a .pcp file hope this helps.

A besmirching plonker .... I've got a disturbing mental image now.

Some of the pro channel presets (from the presets zone) are causing X3 to crash on me. The stock presets are all fine and it's only a few of the added presets. Anyone else seeing this? Just curious...

That's how it should work, but nope. When you open the downloaded .pcp with notepad you'll find html (or .xml) inside. Also Prochannel pops an error when trying to open such a file. - And the file size is appr 20 kbs as a 'normal' .pcp is appr 2 kb's.

I now see what you mean and get the same result when trying to load the downloaded presets.

The other comment wasn't directed at you I believe they are referring to some questionable items listed on the prochannel preset zone web page.

I am trying to get the presets and when I click the link it just takes me back to the Cakewalk Sonar main web page.  Are these presets not available anymore.  I see people stating the same problem in this forum with no solution specified.
