Pro Channel Saturation Versus SoftTube Saturation
Pro Channel already has a great (in my opinion) tube saturation section. What will we gain with the proposed SoftTube saturation?

Lets hope softube do a better job with this than they did with the dedicated Ableton Guitar AMP which is very weak.

Softube is the company Marshall works with to make their modeling amplifiers. They must be doing something right.

Will the "tube" section of the ProChannel be revamped with the new Soft Tube stuff or will it be the same as it is now? (double-space) I've been wondering about the saturaters on the VX64 vocal strip, are these the same as either of the PC's current saturaters? Actually, it would have to be the other way around, VX64 came first.

I like analog saturation - the real McCoy. I must say that digital emulation is getting better, tho. @
https://soundcloud.com/a-pleasure-dome http://www.bnoir-film.com/ there came forth little children out of the city, and mocked him, and said unto him, Go up, thou bald head; go up, thou bald head. 24 And he turned back, and looked on them, and cursed them in the name of the Lord. And there came forth two she bears out of the wood, and tare forty and two children of them.

I cheated and contacted technical support :-) The tube saturation in the upcoming PC Expanded is of higher quality and based off of real analog circuitry. The current tube saturation in PC has two different settings and the upcoming Expanded version has 3 settings.

With just One Big Knob to turn instead of the input-drive-output controls, it will be easier to judge the plugin's contribution without being fooled by volume difference.

I jest but will still probably pay the 50 bucks!
