Pro Channel modules not showing up in Platinum (solved)
I just upgraded to Platinum this weekend. Oddly, none of the Pro Channel modules are showing up on any of the tracks like they do in X3. This there an option I need to select to get the modules to appear? Thanks Joe

Try a reset and rescan of your VSTs.

Thank John. I did that with no luck. Platinum scans the same number of VSTs as X3 but no modules are visible. Thanks Joe

BY not visible do you mean they are not available in the PC module list or just not in the PC by default? If it is the latter, add the ones you want to the PC and right-click in the PC to set the default. There is a default for tracks and for buses.

Thanks. What I mean is, I open a new project, select a track. On the left, you see the channel strip and at the top there are tabs you can select. In the past if I clicked on the ProChannel tab, I would see the Eq, compression etc in the channel strip. There are always there but turned off. Every track had these effects ready to go. Now I see nothing other than an effect bin, aux, pan etc. Thanks Joe

The Pro Channel doesn't have an Fx Bin, Aux, Pan etc, so I think you're looking in the wrong place. Try posting a screenshot so we know where you are

If the about screen says SONAR Platinum, the inspector should have a ProCh tab. Click on the tab and right-click for the context menu, insert the modules needed and "Set Modules as Default for " Tracks or Buses. This is what the context menu looks like for a bus PC.

Hi. What Joe seems to be seeing, is when nothing is selected in Inspector. When nothing is selected, you only see FX bin, Pan, Solo etc. Took to long writing. Steve has already given you the answer...

Zargg71 is right. However, I did a fresh install and the problem has been corrected. Thanks!
I look forward to exploring platinum.
